EverBee has been experiencing a substantial increase in users overtime from 100,000+ users to 500,000+ users in the past years. With this exponential growth, it became very important for us to ensure users are making the best out of our product suite.

Background

Our present onboarding flows are fairly functional but why do we keep getting concerning user feedback

Our present onboarding experience based off of metrics does work, but we keep getting feedback from users on not understand what features and data points are accessible to them. So there is the opportunity to improve upon the existing experience while maintaining conversions.

Problem

Users aren't properly maximising the research tool

However, the existing onboarding experience along with online content is the only way to go about this. There is the opportunity to create a learning experience that is not only sufficient, but also offers continuous learning experience for all user tiers.

Improved onboarding

We improved the existing onboarding experience to give a more detailed walkthrough for first time users

However, the existing onboarding experience along with online content is the only way to go about this. There is the opportunity to create a learning experience that is not only sufficient, but also offers continuous learning experience for all user tiers.

Improved accessibility to learning

We created a new learning experience where users can easily access the module from the sidebar. This was concluded after numerous iterations and testings after which the product and design teams settled on having it placed on the sidebar.

We expect this this new position will help the members naturally discover the learning module.

Segmenting information sources

We segmented information blocks to help streamline and breakdown information to minor chunks so as to make users easily digest information presented to them.
